The objective of this event is to raise awareness of the challenges faced by patients with rare diseases in accessing the care and treatments they need and to encourage all stakeholders – including governments, patient groups, health professionals and industry – to help implement Canada’s Rare Disease Strategy to improve the lives of Canadians with rare diseases.
