Canadian Experts Join Parliamentarians for a Virtual Welcome Reception and Panel on Game Changers in Health Research and Health Innovation

OTTAWA, March 1, 2022 – Research Canada and the Parliamentary Health Research Caucus are proud to host the first Parliamentary Health Research Caucus (PHRC) event of the 44th Parliament. At this virtual invitation-only reception with Parliamentarians, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health, will officially welcome new and returning Members of Parliament via a pre-recorded video on behalf of the Parliamentary Health Research Caucus (PHRC) and announce the new Chair, Vice-Chairs and Senate Representative of the 44th Parliament’s PHRC.

We will also be joined by the Parliamentary Secretary of Health and Sport, Mr. Adam van Koeverden who will offer his remarks followed by the first Game Changers in Health Research and Health Innovation event of 2022. This event, sponsored by Innovative Medicines CanadaGilead Sciences Canada Inc. and BioCanRx, will feature our best and brightest Canadian health researchers and innovators who will share their game-changing health research and innovations that promise revolutionary change in human health and healthcare.
