Parliamentary Luncheon Showcases Game-Changing Health Research and Innovation in Aging

OTTAWA, December 7, 2022 – The Parliamentary Health Research Caucus (PHRC) and Research Canada are proud to host a Game Changers in Health Research and Health Innovation Luncheon, the fourth in a series of PHRC events under this theme, on aging. This invitation-only event will feature four of the best and brightest Canadian health researchers and innovators who will share their game-changing health research and innovations in aging that promise revolutionary change in human health and healthcare with Parliamentarians and special guests.

Our aging population faces a diverse range of challenges with corresponding implications for healthcare needs and use. This event, sponsored by Innovative Medicines Canada, AGE-WELL and the Canadian Frailty Network, will showcase game-changing research in aging in a variety of areas, including: innovative products and services that transform and tech-enable the aging experience and a treatment that has the ability to prevent and reverse memory loss. We will also showcase the effects of aging on the immune system and new approaches in palliative care.

The Game Changers in Health Research and Health Innovation Luncheon will be held as part of Research Canada’s program on Game Changers in Health Research and Health Innovation: Focus on Aging.
